PRODUCT REVIEW: CANTU SHEA BUTTER MOISTURIZING RINSE OUT CONDITIONER

Cantu Shea Butter Moisturising Rinse Out Conditioner

I was scheming through my archives and I just realized I had these photos that have never seen the light of day. Perfect time to do a review, right?  Before I switched to Tres Semme Conditioner, I used the Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Rinse Out Conditioner in the spirit of experimenting stuff. I love Cantu products, especially the curling cream and so once in a while I still use this conditioner as part of my regimen. For those of you who are curious about the Cantu Shea Butter Rinse Out Moisturizing Conditioner, I hope this review will lead to a clear judgement on whether to use it or not. This is not a sponsored post and therefore the review is totally based on my perception of the product.

Hello August 😉 That was fast. Here’s to taking stock of life lately:

7 TIPS ON HOW TO EMBRACE YOUR NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY

Just Margie: Embracing your natural hair journey, tips to new naturals

There is a quote that speaks to me whenever I think of my natural hair, or whenever I want to tell a friend that they should embrace their natural hair:

I love my hair because it’s a reflection of my soul. It’s dense, it’s kinky, it’s soft, it’s textured, it’s difficult, it’s easy and it’s fun. That’s why I love my hair.

A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE-MY RELAXED HAIR

A walk down Memory lane- My Relaxed Hair by Just Margie

Don’t you guys just love Facebook for helping you walk down memory lane to remind you of where you have come from? I personally enjoy seeing my memories, from the lack of grammar in my former updates, to my childish updates (I look at them and I laugh), to the low quality images that still made their way on your timeline, to the very immature poses that were actually the “in-thing”, to the now outdated fashion sense I had 😉 It’s all too funny. I recently saw my past images of my relaxed hair and I thought, why not share this one the blog? So yeah, this is how my relaxed hair journey looked like….

Heeeeeyyyy there 🙂

I must say; I have been in deep thoughts lately about how to revamp my blog and keep it engaging, how to live a happy life, how to say no when I need to (I tend to be timid about this sometimes), and about life generally. For a while I have been thinking of doing the Taking Stock Series not only to help me re-evaluate some decisions I make monthly, but also to let you guys in on what goes on in my life other than natural hair chronicles. I hope we get to engage through this series and learn a tad from each other. It will be running on the blog every first week of the month. So ladies and gentlemen (drum rolls), here goes Taking Stock One by Margie Muga 😉
